We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Why join us Corporate Sales, a part of Markets and Securities Services, Global Markets Front Office. We are looking to recruit talented and driven individual to support the Corporate Sales COO function & Corporate Sales Team globally in Business Development, Sales Support, Client Service, Booking & execution, Market Research & Insights, Automation etc. that will enable onshore sales teams to dedicate more time delivering better service to clients and make it easier for customers to do business with HSBC. The candidate will be part of Corporate Sales Bangalore Team. The mandate of the Corporate Sales Bangalore team is to support the development and implementation of Corporate Sales Strategy, providing insight, developing tools, and driving initiatives to help grow the business and deliver measurable improvements in client service and sales performance. The purpose of the Corporate Sales Bangalore team is also to assist onshore sales teams with Pre-Sales, Post-Sales and trade lifecycle support. The candidate will be part of the Corporate Sales Bangalore team supporting Front Office sales team, Management, COO through the provision of key client insights and services. The individual will be expected to work closely with the COO office, Corporate Sales regional/country heads and sales leads in onshore locations. The Opportunity: The role entails collaborating with the COO function and onshore sales teams to operate in a control framework whereby key decisions are made by the appropriate onshore corporate sales team. The role provides exposure to both front office sales teams and Global Markets products. What you\'ll do: The responsibilities of the role will evolve with the expansion of our offshore capability and rollout of sales enablement tools driving business development and our growth agenda. This would include collaborating with the COO function and onshore sales teams to operate in a control framework whereby key decisions are made by the appropriate onshore team member. Expert in market research and market commentary writ-ups, build actionable intelligence across the corporate client base which will be used for business development and opportunity assessment and supports sales strategy. Clear understanding of FX, Forwards, FX Options, Swap & money market instruments. Able to analyze and understand structured & investment products. Support all global regions with processes & business development initiatives. Maintain Corporate Sales Marketing content hub by web designing, writing daily market updates, preparing weekly FX & Rates slides, Writing CMB weekly market update & interest rate commentaries & publishing content to relevant teams. Handle global stakeholders single-handedly by managing projects or responsibilities given by them. Able to prioritize responsibilities and keep them posted regularly on the progress. Development of innovative platforms and/or technology tools for real time MI and Analytics and its effective and efficient distribution to stakeholders globally adhering control of information requirements Incorporation of external market information including quantitative metrics (market share, wallet share) and qualitative metrics (service level analyses, client feedback) into the analytics function. Preparation of pre-meeting client packs for sales team members. Provide commentary on industry trends, benchmarking, P&L analysis, revenue stability, and products & volumes traded by the client. Research and collate new items of interest regarding corporates who have announced cross border activities such as fundraising or new overseas contracts, and changes in credit appetite, trading history, or general impact by market events. Support Corporate Sales regional heads on ad-hoc as well as BAU data and other ad-hoc requests. Provide support on various sales initiatives requiring creating and new visualization and distribution tools. This would offer opportunities to work directly with sales leads and develop relationships with other product and platform teams. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Overall, 2 to 10 years of experience in Banking & Financial Services/Research Companies/Banking IT, Business Analytics, BI Reporting Well versed on what\'s currently happening globally about regulations & foreign exchange. Should be able to write market commentaries, CCY Pair movement Summaries & Impact of key announcements to currency markets. Well versed with Foreign Exchange, Options, Swaps, NDF & Rates Hands on use of Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik Sense or any other visualization tool will be a plus. Knowledge in VBA, SQL, Python, automation tools with be an added advantage Experience in Global stakeholder engagement Excellent spoken and written English skills Expert in Microsoft Office specially in Excel & PowerPoint Manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and prioritize workload Flexibility or adapt to support Asia, EMEA & US stakeholders & time zones Understanding of Global Markets products, specifically FX spot, FX forwards, FX options, money market products, and interest rates is preferable Enthusiastic, Eager to learn about business, its challenges & constraints Able to work independently, proactively and against multiple deadlines Seek feedback and demonstrate agility and flexibility in meeting ever changing business requirements Effective communicator & influencer across a diverse peer group You\'ll achieve more at HSBC HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
