Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions. Role Description:

The Operations and Automation Support Analyst will be responsible for providing best-in-class operational support and analysis for the SFP Team and end users. The SFP Analyst will identify process inefficiencies and help create automations for process improvements. The member will learn and partner with team members across the globe to provide seamless execution and delivery of operational processes to key stakeholders, as well as regular testing of the SFP applications' enhancements. The successful candidate will take ownership of daily operational processes and provide deliverables within established Service Level Agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 4 + years' experience in OPS/Automation testing with financial domain experience
  • Independently Manage the communication as well as become a responsible point of contact for various stakeholders.
  • Should have good experience in Reconciliation of data in Excel, writing and running SQL queries
  • Should be able to perform Test Analysis, Test case preparation and reviews and Test execution
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new projects and be able to multi task between different projects as needed
  • Automation skillset using Selenium, Python, Alteryx, Data Analytic tools like Tableau/Qlikview
  • Experience with Data Modelling tools is good to have.
  • Possess strong communication-written and oral
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
  • Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science/Computer applications/Related field
  • Technical skills-Proficiency with SQL, Databases, Excel, Selenium, Alteryx, Python
  • Working knowledge of Management Reporting with good analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at all levels
  • Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital
  • Assertive and self-confident, comfortable when interacting with senior management
  • Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork and Multi-tasking
  • Must be detail oriented and maintain professional behavior under stressful situations
