  • Advocating responsible brand-building for both internal and external audiences, contributing to company reputation, employee\xe2\x80\x99s motivation and sense of belonging to the company while strengthening awareness on company\xe2\x80\x99s products and solutions in the external world
  • Reputation management and Crisis mitigation
  • Management of India communications team and development of Communications Manager ( Position includes 2 direct reports)
  • Role sits on the India management team

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
External
  • Develop and implement integrated communications campaign for building positive equity for the brand and deliver on business objectives
  • Ensure consistent external (media + social) visibility
  • Responsible for traditional, new media and digital campaigns to drive metrics\xe2\x80\x90oriented
    business outcomes
  • Crisis management and Reputation management
  • CSR communications to amplify community outreach programmes in close consultation with Alstom Foundation and Country Community Action Plan (CCAP)
  • Establish corporate advocacy programs to effectively navigate the political and regulatory landscape in India
  • Executive Positioning
Internal
  • Building Cluster MD\xe2\x80\x99s internal visibility and positioning him/ her as a People leader
  • Strategize and implement employee engagement programs in accordance with Human Resources
  • Reinforce Alstom\xe2\x80\x99s strong corporate values and 2025 vision
  • Supporting factories, business verticals/ functions by advising them on communication opportunities and techniques
  • Manage deployment of global internal programs (Corporate, Sectors specific\xe2\x80\xa6), strategic decisions and information of employees
  • Ensure adherence to Alstom visual identity and graphic chart across all sites and locations





Educational Requirements
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Mass Communication from a reputed institute
  • A background in journalism is an added advantage




Experience & Requirement
  • Prior experience of 13-15 years in similar function
  • Team Management Experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of Business tools
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory, French and regional Indian/ Asian languages added advantage)
  • Self-driven and work with limited supervision
