Purpose of the Job: The position is for a subject matter expert with managerial skills to handle independently all the activities to meet the objective of full-scope consolidated financials for the quarter as well as for the full year. To develop and implement collaborative initiatives to tackle complex situations and deliver on time. Deliverables : . Assist in quarterly and annual reporting for Medline and its subsidiaries . Responsible for all the consolidation accounting adjustments at group level. . Assist in accounting closure of one off transactions - Business Combination, hedge accounting, etc . Understand complex FASB and SEC rules and regulations, client deadlines and deliverables, requests and preferences to deliver excellent client services. . Draft or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosures, SEC Reporting, including 10K, 10Q and other filings Identification and application of technical accounting guidance, and/or Global accounting activities including IFRS, foreign currency and consolidations. . Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in consolidation processes. . Utilize financial systems and tools such as Oracle and SAP to streamline consolidation processes. . Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and consolidation. . Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations. . Stay updated with the latest developments in US GAAP accounting regulations to ensure compliance. . Responsible for implementation of other accounting and reporting changes related to US GAAP . Responsible for handling audit (Quarterly + Annual) of the consolidated and stand-alone financial statements . Responsible for Monthly closing and MIS . Assist in preparing technical memos on various accounting issues, technical updates /knowledge sharing . Supervise, coach and mentor all levels of staff. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training. Develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct. Key competencies: . Business and commercial acumen . Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field. . CPA license is required. . Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. . Ability to function as a team leader in executing projects. . Significant experience in writing complex technical accounting position papers . Aptitude for technical accounting research and self-education, and the desire for continuous learning. . Ability to collaborate with teams and own their work product. . Ability to motivate engagement teams. . Proven solid verbal and written communication skills. . Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
