Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our fabric manufacturing unit
  • End-to-End responsibility for managing operations, production efficiency, supply chain, quality, compliance, and profitability.
  • As a strategic partner to the MD, the incoming leader will be accountable for driving operational excellence, implementing best practices, and ensuring sustainable growth with full P&L accountability.
Lead and manage all operational aspects of the manufacturing unit including production, planning, procurement, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.
Drive profitability by optimising operational efficiency, cost control, capacity utilisation and waste reduction.
Take full P&L ownership of the unit and be responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and growth plans.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis for the manufacturing unit.
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to align production capabilities with market demands.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital automation.
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team across departments to create a performance-driven culture.
Manage vendor relationships, raw material sourcing, and cost-effective supply chain strategies
Leadership Role which reports into the Manufacturing Director Responsible for Managing overall Operations,Production Efficiency,Supply Chain
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field; MBA or post-graduate qualification is a plus.
20+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the textile or fabric industry.
Proven track record of managing large-scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, raw material procurement, and quality systems.
Excellent analytic, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
