L1 Monitoring and Control M Batch management position Primary Skill Server Infra App Monitoring and Providing L1 support
Secondary Skill Knowledge about datacenter and its functionalities
Monitor Servers Network Storage Databases and Data Centers for any events alarms Perform Application Console monitoring on Net cool Control M PCS and VERITAS Netbackup
Monitor batch jobs and coordinate with vendors suppliers so it completes within the SLA stream Preform day to day operational activities which included time bound health checks applications system health checks etc
Update progress reports in a daily basis and work under shift lead s supervision
Taking charge during critical situations and coordinate with various support teams for a quick resolution Attending daily weekly incident change meetings and report the status Perform critical and special process activities independently Identifying areas of improvement in the process and bringing to the notice of the senior members
Mentor the reporting team identify areas of process improvement like automation cross trainings etc
