You have found the right team As the Control Managerin our Commercial Banking Team , you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm Job Responsibilities: In partnership with stakeholders, you will evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business\' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols Perform ongoing analysis of program related dataand develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business/control-related programs and strategies Assist with development of CORE process mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with F&BM functions. Build and maintain knowledge of Finance and Business Management functional areas, operational changes, policies and procedures, Commercial Banking regulations/laws, and operational risk practices to implement necessary control activities Assist in issue and action plan development, as well as gathering evidence and documenting appropriate support for issue closure Provide assistance in the preparation and management of audit and 2nd line reviews for F&BM functions and you will ensure that F&BM remains in alignment with Firm-wideCommercial Banking CORE Standardsor Procedures Assist in the development of Finance and Business Management Control reporting and metrics package for senior leadership and participate in special projects, as assigned Required Qualification, Skills and Capabilities Bachelor\'s degree, with concentration in business (finance/accounting or related field preferred) 5-7 years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation Strong work ethic and highest integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required and data analytics preferred using Excel, Access Business knowledge - Understand business / knowledge of regulation surrounding business Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner Process mapping experience a plus Preferred Qualification, Skills and Capabilities Networking - strong interpersonal skills strong collaboration and relationship building skills Work autonomously to affect change - flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment Problem solving / Analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills able to synthe large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions Implementation skills
