You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of operational excellence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the overall performance of distribution operations across one or more locations ensuring the achievement of all agreed financial + operational objectives. The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:
\xef\x82\xb7 To manage, plan, organize staff + transport sub-contractors (company fleet + drivers where applicable).
\xef\x82\xb7 To work closely with warehouse management teams, ensuring efficient operational execution within a collaborative environment.
\xef\x82\xb7 To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit, safety + compliance in line with our policy.
\xef\x82\xb7 To ensure your team(s) deliver against their customer, site + people key performance indicators (KPI).
\xef\x82\xb7 To lead all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence, while also supporting business development teams.
\xef\x82\xb7 To deliver productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your operations meet or exceed productivity targets.
\xef\x82\xb7 To provide information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business + retention of existing business.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Post graduate from a recognized university in Supply Chain.
• Approx. 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
• Strong communication & Interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative mindset- sense of urgency and proactive communication.
