Job Description

Food preparation:

Cook a variety of continental dishes like soups, pastas, grilled meats, and sauces according to recipes and standards.

Quality and presentation:

Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and visual presentation, including proper garnishing.

Hygiene and safety:

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by following all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Ingredient management:

Monitor and manage stock levels, check the freshness of ingredients, and ensure proper storage.

Kitchen operations:

Assist with mise en place, portion control, and support senior chefs with daily tasks.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Skills and qualifications

Strong knowledge of European cooking techniques (e.g., French, Italian) and continental cuisine. Excellent attention to detail in preparation, cooking, and plating. Proficiency in food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Formal culinary training or relevant certification is often preferred.
