Job Description

Menu Planning and Recipe Execution:

Developing and executing menus featuring a variety of Continental dishes, following recipes accurately and consistently.

Food Preparation and Cooking:

Preparing ingredients, cooking dishes using various techniques, and ensuring proper food handling and storage.

Quality Control:

Maintaining high standards for food presentation, taste, and freshness.

Kitchen Management:

Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Hygiene and Safety:

Adhering to strict health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness.

Collaboration:

Working with other kitchen staff, potentially supervising junior chefs, and potentially interacting with front-of-house staff.

Continuous Improvement:

Participating in training, seeking feedback, and potentially suggesting improvements to food quality and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:

Culinary Expertise:

Strong knowledge of European culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and cooking methods.

Menu Planning and Recipe Development:

Ability to create and adapt menus, develop new dishes, and adjust recipes to meet customer needs.

Time Management and Organization:

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Communication and Teamwork:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other staff and potentially interact with customers.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment
