Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the
preparation and cooking
of continental dishes such as pasta, grills, sauces, soups, salads, and baked items.
Support the Commis 1 and Chef de Partie in mise-en-place and daily food production.
Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines to maintain standardization.
Ensure all raw materials and ingredients are properly measured, handled, and stored.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workstation at all times in compliance with
HACCP and food safety standards.
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies as per FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Report shortages, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the senior chef.
Help in minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
Maintain professional behavior and teamwork within the kitchen.
