Job Description

1. Food Preparation & Cooking



Prepare and cook a variety of

Continental dishes

including pasta, grilled meats, steaks, sauteed vegetables, soups, and sauces. Ensure

consistency in taste, texture, and presentation

for all dishes.

2. Recipe Knowledge & Innovation



Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications. Innovate and contribute

new recipes or plating ideas

to enhance the continental menu.

3. Hygiene & Safety



Maintain

high standards of cleanliness

and hygiene in the kitchen. Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations (FSSAI standards, etc.) Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of ingredients.

4. Kitchen Coordination



Coordinate with

Head Chef

on daily orders and special menus. Assist other sections when needed, especially during rush hours. Train and guide

junior staff or commis chefs

working in the continental section.

5. Inventory & Cost Control



Monitor daily stock and inform the store manager of required items. Avoid wastage and ensure

optimum utilization of ingredients

. Suggest alternate ingredients when needed to maintain consistency without increasing costs.

6. Equipment Handling



Operate and maintain

continental kitchen equipment

like grills, salamanders, pasta machines, and ovens. Report any faults or maintenance needs to kitchen management.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
