Job Description

Food Preparation and Cooking

Assisting Senior Chefs:

Supporting Chef de Parties and other senior chefs with various cooking tasks and following instructions to produce quality dishes.

Ingredient Preparation:

Washing, peeling, chopping, and seasoning ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, and meats.

Basic Dish Creation:

Preparing simple dishes, sauces, and condiments as directed by senior chefs.

Mise en Place:

Setting up and organizing workstations with prepped ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Kitchen Operations

Hygiene and Safety:

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and at their personal workstation, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Stock Management:

Helping with deliveries, monitoring stock levels, and rotating ingredients to prevent spoilage and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.

Inventory:

Taking stock of ingredients and alerting senior chefs to low or depleted supplies.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and utensils to meet kitchen standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
