Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Chef de Partie (CDP) - Continental Cuisine

to join our kitchen team. The CDP will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality continental dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present continental dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and quality standards. Manage a designated kitchen station (grill, saute, pantry, etc.) efficiently during service hours. Ensure mise-en-place is completed prior to each service. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management and ordering. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff and commis chefs. Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu planning, specials, and new dish development. Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes served. Minimize food waste through proper storage and rotation practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CDP or Demi Chef in a Continental kitchen. In-depth knowledge of classic and modern continental cuisine. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and food safety practices. Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
