MyVerkoper was incorporated in 2018 but the idea for the company was conceived by its founder, Mr. Nithin, a year before its incorporation. He has completed his Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Business Administration (MBA) and earlier worked with Xseed Education, with five years of experience in the education industry. He has always been obsessed with improving efficiencies through better organization in every aspect of life. Moreover, his stint with the highly unorganized educational industry triggered in him the idea of organizing it through an exclusive e-marketplace for educational institutions. He observed the need for bridging the gap between manufacturers and educational institutions to improve their business efficiencies by providing better communication between them. This led to the conception of the exclusive e-marketplace, MyVerkoper.




Job Brief


We are looking for a driven Content Marketer / Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users in the Ecommerce industry. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it\xe2\x80\x99s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.


What does an \xe2\x80\x9cContent Marketer / Social Media Manager\xe2\x80\x9d do?

The goal is to achieve superior customer engagement gradually and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.
Should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and \xe2\x80\x9csoft selling\xe2\x80\x9d the product by providing support to current and prospective customers. You are the one who creates engaging print, visual and video content that a business can use to engage with their audience.

Requirements


Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• 
  Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• 
  Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
• 
  Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
• 
  Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content
• 
  Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
• 
  Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members
• 
  Edit, proofread and improve content
• 
  Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
• 
  Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company\xe2\x80\x99s social content
• 
  Coordination with content writer and graphic designer to present the output.
• 
  Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• 
  Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• 
  Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• 
  Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
• 
  Identify target audience and grow our email list
• 
  Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
• 
  Create email databases for lead generation
• 
  Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features
• 
  Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• 
  Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• 
  Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• 
  Proven work experience as a Content marketing manager
• 
  Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software
• 
  Understanding of web publishing requirements
• 
  Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
• 
  Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
• 
  Expertise in social media platforms
• 
  Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• 
  Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• 
  Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• 
  Fluency in English
• 
  BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
