Must haves:

• Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, IT, Electronics & Communication or engineering-related or data-intensive related fields such as applied mathematics, economics, physics or statistics.
• Professional experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer or related role in the private sector. Includes developing optimization algorithms or machine learning or deep learning models in production settings for 3 or more years.
  
• Application Development: Proficiency in Python and/or R, FastAPI/Django/Flask, SQL and Git.
• Proven experience in applied machine learning, including familiarity with various forms of regression, classification, and supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization, statistical analysis, and data mining.
• Effective communication skills to convey findings, collaborate with the team and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS, and/or GCP.
• Good knowledge in coding standard, building re-useable services.
• Good knowledge in GIS (spatial data analysis) and/or tools like QGIS etc
• Familiarity with deep learning techniques
• Ability to present complex business and technology problems and solutions in a simple form to address the level of audience from C-level, executive sponsors, and business owners to engineering and operational teams
• Strong appetite for innovation and emerging technologies
• Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical solutions with end users in mind, motivate and mobilize resources, as well as deliver results
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and working on multiple tools and technologies
• Strong fundamentals in solving analytical problems with various algorithmic solutions.
• Professional experience in end-to-end system design: data analysis, feature engineering, technique selection & implementation, debugging, and maintenance in production.
• Data Mining & Management / Predictive Analytics / Machine Learning / Optimisation / Business Rules Engines / Geospatial Analysis / Risk Scoring & Identification
• Solid experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and techniques
• Knowledge of Generative AI models
• Knowledge of existing and upcoming platforms and vendors in the market with and leveraging them creatively into wider business solutions (good to have)
