Financial Services (FS) is one of the fastest growing sectors within Consulting that provides integrated solutions to our clients across Banks, NBFCs and Insurers in India and adjoining markets. Deloitte’s Digital Financial Services Team assists financial executives to improve customer expectations, target their audiences, and leverage financial technologies to keep their businesses profitable. Our team is redefining business models, rethinking go-to-market strategies, and disrupting the traditional financial model to change the way people work, coupling transformative technologies with ground breaking creative work to make it all happen. We are presently expanding our FS team and are looking for Senior Consultant level professionals with 4-7 years of relevant experience in Financial Services. Who are we looking for:
You must be a hands-on self-starter with a structured thinking / problem solving mindset and one who is comfortable dealing with a high level of ambiguity
Your experience in Financial Services sector in India may have been gained either as a Management Consultant and / or as an Industry professional who has worked in a wide variety of roles that helps you to understand the strategic drivers without losing sight of the operational rigor
You must be able to understand the solution design development and deliver the development package as per the agreed timeline
You must be able to understand the requirements, functional solution, technical solution, and do development based on the same
You must be able to perform development based on FSD and TSD in a Temenos platform
You must be able to handle preparation & support of unit testing, support SIT/UAT team during testing and preparation of rollout
You must be able to perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents, design and execute test plans
You may have worked with clients in India, the Middle East or South East Asian markets and may have exposure to either the Banking/NBFC, Payments or the Insurance industry
You may have worked with clients in the financial services domain on optimizing their existing processes, products and services through operational, digital or strategic transformations
You must have a strong appreciation of emerging Digital technologies and their impact on Financial Service business models
You may have a basic understanding of certain compliance procedures and policies for Banks/Insurance or Wealth Management firms
You are open to travel (While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Skills:
Must be technically or techno functionally capable in temenos transact
Strong understanding of T24 architecture, infobasic coding and debugging
In-depth knowledge of TAFC, TAFJ, IRIS, OFS, integration framework, TOCFE
Good understanding of T24 Core modules and Transact
Good customization skill in T24 Version, Enquiry, Enquiry report, Advices, Reports etc.
In-depth understanding in writing Single and Multi-Threaded Routine
Packaging and releasing T24 components is a must have attribute required for the job
Must have experience in interface development
Complete understanding of the SDLC lifecycle
Ability to translate FSD to TSD and prepare FSD for minor business requirements
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on SFDC configuration modules such as process builder, visual flow, workflow rule, reports, dashboard, Lightning app builder
Good knowledge & hands-on experience in programming to develop APEX Class, Triggers, Test classes, Batch apex, Scheduled jobs, Queueable apex APIs
Experience in building custom pages using Visual Force, lightning components using SLDS
Strong understanding of Salesforce object model and relationship among objects to clearly delineate the need of SOQL, SOSL
Strong conceptual knowledge on object-oriented design concepts
Experience with webservice development using SOAP and REST API
Experience with large scale data-migration using Salesforce dataloader or similar tools
Ability to document & execute unit test cases
Experience with executing deployments for large enterprise clients using Salesforce changeset or ANT migration tool
Good experience on working with managed packages
Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project and having excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating architecture and design principles
Good understanding of Loan origination systems and different process flows involved with a Loan Origination system
Hands on experience on Temeno modules’ configuration
Experience on Agile/Scrum based delivery
Experience in architectural designs for complex enterprises.
Individuals with certifications in Temenos will be preferred (not mandatory)
Qualifications:
You are an MBA from a Tier-1 B-School and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in commerce, business, economics or engineering from a top tier institution
A minimum of 2 years of Business Consulting (or 2-3 years of Industry experience) for Consultant role is required
A minimum of 3 years of Business Consulting (or 3-5 years Industry experience) for Senior consultant role is required
Ability and proven experience to lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large financial institutions
Responsibilities include providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating, and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
Senior Consultants implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
Consultants/Senior Consultants participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
Excellent power point and presentation skills. Data analytics and financial modelling skills are an advantage
Basic understanding of developing customer journeys and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies are welcome
