Role: Java Developer

Location: Mumbai/Hybrid

Number of days working: 5 days

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in JSP (JavaServer Pages) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Java technologies, with a focus on JSP for front-end development. This role requires strong programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and JSP technologies.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and responsive web designs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate backend services with front-end components to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of web applications.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with architectural standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and techniques.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of web applications.

Requirements: * Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in JSP web page development.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with front-end development tools and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery).
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL, with experience in database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills: * Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

• Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies such as Servlets and JSP custom tags.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
