About the Role

Our Strategic Communications team in India provides our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.

The Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting is seeking to hire a Consultant, to join its India Office. The candidate should have a proven ability to advise global clients on strategic communications possess a problem solving and service orientation, drive new business development and collaborate with colleagues across international offices.

We are looking for self-motivated, entrepreneurial and high energy team player, with excellent written and communications skills. Consultant and Senior Consultant -level positions typically are between 3-9 years, but this is indicative only and exceptions will be made for exceptional candidates. We are looking for andidate who has financial services experience specifically around Private Equity, Corporate advisory, Special Situations etc.

The candidate should be a diligent team player with maturity, be results-oriented, and a strong service orientation. This is important as the role requires providing strategic communications counsel to senior clients\' teams and managing team members. We are looking for enthusiastic learners who want to utilize new approaches to communications as part of a leading global communications consultancy business and build an international career.

The candidate demonstrates a high level of integrity and asks the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsibly.

The candidate is required to understands FTI\'s values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice and demonstrates a strong commitment to applying these concepts in daily interactions with colleagues and clients. The candidate is required to travel to clients and to FTI office(s).

COMPETENCIES SOUGHT

STRATEGIC IMPLEMENTATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS

• Create high quality written materials - plans, documents and presentations - with adequate secondary research input and proactive advisory inputs, in the most time-efficient manner for the team and for clients.
• Project manage and run multi-stakeholder programmes for clients and internal teams, efficiently and effectively. This will include the ability to monitor and track progress on a weekly basis and create weekly report for internal and external circulation. Past experience, perspectives and know-how in solving complex business problems will be considered positively.
• Possess a strong service orientation, ability to anticipate client needs and manage client expectations proactively.
  

HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAMWORK

• Collaborate proactively with on-site and virtual teams seamlessly, to build and grow the strategic communications business.
  

STRATEGIC THINKING & PLANNING

• Strategic thinking and problem solving skills to engage effectively with client teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset and being open to new professional learning and challenges
  

SUPPORT BUSINESS BUILDING

• Ability to make effective presentations to small groups.
• Ability to execute multi-stakeholder, strategic communications on behalf of global corporations and their senior teams, working closely with international offices and colleagues across different time zones. Past experience in planning, executing and managing national communications programmes will be an advantage.
• An analytical mind and keen commercial orientation to appreciate business strategies, decisions that shape executive actions and commercial implications. Ability to demonstrate numerate skills will be positively considered.
