Job Description
Job Summary: The Controllership team is responsible right from recording and tracking each financial level transaction to the closure of books and reporting of financial transactions by preparing financial statements and accordingly providing commentary of the financial outlook of the entity which broadly includes: A systematic and programmed monthly financial statement closure and reporting process, Liasioning with statutory auditors for timely completion of statutory audit, coordination with stakeholders as a facilitator to the audit team for providing input required for audit procedure. To ensure books of accounts get audited as per defined timelines and compliances. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the controllers and various other team members with accurate entry posting
- Ensuring accurate accounting in terms of classification, cutoff and accuracy
- Ensure inter-company charges are booked in respective company codes
- Completion of posting all entries within the timelines
- Collation of all data from respective controllers
- Co-ordination for external audits and reviews
- Collation and preparation of data for statutory reporting
- Providing necessary schedules to the auditors and track the progress of audit
- Following up with respective controllers
- Preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements and notes to accounts
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant- Year of Graduation Nov 2022.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including US GAAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to acquire knowledge on different areas, research and application of same
- Willingness to learn people management skills
