Job Overview Role: Consultant Location: Mumbai The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual with 7-12 years of experience to design end to end test solution for Automation testing projects. Candidate must have strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data and IoT testing. Role Responsibilities 60% of Time Functional Responsibilities: - Design data test plan and test strategy. - Organizing and controlling the test process. - Design test measur ements and metrics for the product and the test team. - Set Quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies. - Selecting the most suitable type of framework/Strategy required for the project. 30% of Time Operational Responsibilities - Manage stakeholders from different country & time zones. - Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for any given engagement. - Finding and arranging behavioural, functional, non-functional training needs for the team. - Work closely with business to identify solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution. 10% of Time Team Management - Mentor the team on test services/process. - Create and define risks contingencies and plans. - Ensure that the testing and validation processes are improved continuously. - Act as a career coach or/and advisor for team Must - have technical skills and experience . Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases) and that testing meets governance requirements. . Good knowledge in OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript . Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews. . Expert in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium/Appium. . UI and/or API level test automation expertise both on web and mobile. . Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks in eCommerce, Web Applications\' or Ad Ops (preferred) domain. . Thorough understanding and hands on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks. . Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities. . Strong understanding of the SDLC and multiple software engineering and testing methodologies. . Proficient in SQL. . Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages. . Experience creating test cases and testing documentation from requirements/specifications. . Experience gathering testing requirements for projects with minimal development documentation. . Familiarity with popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) . Familiarity with issue tracking tools (JIRA, ADO etc.) Good to have skills . Automation testing, GCP certification . ISTQB certification . Microservices, API Integration testing .
