Consultant, Senior Consultant - Gov - ITAS - Big Data Analyst The opportunity

EY is looking for Big Data Analyst Consultants/ Senior Consultants

Your key responsibilities

• Understanding of Business Processes and Design
• Unit testing / User acceptance testing
• Preparation of training manuals
• Preparation of data templates / understanding of data upload tools

Skills and attributes for success

• Preparation of project status reports
• Good Communication
• Understanding of Indian scenarios
• Confidence Level / Presentation

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 8 + relevant industry experience in Big Data Analysis.
• Experience working with and extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasets
• Demonstrated ability to build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to project manage and work with cross- functional teams
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience building and optimizing 'big data'

architectures and data sets. * Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
• Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations.
• Experience and exposure to Central/ State government projects will be an added advantage
• Experience with the following tools and technologies:
• ELK Stake (Elastic Search & Kibana), Hadoop, Apache Flume, Spark, R
• Relational SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSql, Pig, Hive, MangoDB)
• Object-oriented/object function scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.

Ideally you'll also have

• Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
