We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant specialist (Production Support and DevOps) within the Repo IT team in Pune. Principal responsibilities Repo Technology is an important global functional unit responsible for delivering technology solutions to support HSBCs Repo Trading, Balance Sheet Management, Structured Credit and Collateral Management activities along with associated support function activity across major locations globally.

• Work in a cross POD application support team covering Repo IT PODs in Pune
• Provide high quality L1, L2, L3 application support for repo systems
• Provide solutions to technical issues including code enhancements/bug fixes using Unix shell scripts and Oracle database routin
• Engage with business users, application owners and other stakeholders during problem resolution
• Responding to the business queries within SLA and able to delegate where appropriate
• Take ownership of Issues till resolution and conduct Incident reviews and documentation on a regular basis
• Contribute towards TOIL reduction by developing small tools (using scripts/java/python) to be used by IT teams and business us
• Contribute towards design ideas to improve production estate, stability, automated patching, resilience, disaster recovery
• Contribute towards external audits of repo systems
• Build / maintain and own the CI/CD pipelines across Repo systems
• Continuously improve the current CI/CD pipeline to make it more robust
• Integrate the current CI/CD pipelines with various reporting tools

Requirements
Requirements

• Previous experience of managing application support for high availability (Tier 0) systems
• Strong working experience on Linux/Unix based systems and shell scripts
• Strong working experience in Oracle database
• Strong working knowledge of tools like Control M, Geneos, Puppet, RPA
• Strong working experience of setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Ansible
• Knowledge of Investment banking and Repo
• Knowledge of Python, Java, is an added advantage
• Familiar with Jenkins/Jira and other agile tools
• Ability to multitask
