Specialist in Kubernetes and Docker, CKA / CKAD certifications preferred.
o In depth understanding of Kubernetes and cluster(s) lifecycle and management
Experience with either GCP (preferred) or AWS, especially cloud networking (Shared VPC, or Transit gateway, etc.) and IAM.
o Knowledge and experience of GCP and/or AWS integration patterns, across various Kubernetes workloads.
Knowledge of service meshes is advantageous (Istio preferred)
Experienced implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.
Solid understanding of CI/CD, experienced creating and managing pipelines.
Experienced using version control systems such as git, collaborating on large source code repositories in a team environment.
Comfortable with bash scripting.
Competent using least one programming language (GoLang preferred).
Knowledge of TDD principles, writing unit and integration tests. (1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue (2.)
