Bentley Systems Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful team as a Consultant for our Plant Design Modeling Advancement group who will understand business processes in plant design in capital project execution and in the operation phase of the plant. Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in defining scope of services for implementation projects
• Ensure competency with Bentley plant design software capabilities as well as with plant engineering industry workflows, methods, and trend
• Provide OpenPlant and/or AutoPLANT consulting to include installation, configuration, troubleshooting, over-the-shoulder support and development of user specific workflows
• Identify, track and route issues and change requests as appropriate and develop training workshops and contribute upgrades to training course materials.

• Discover and document training and consulting opportunities
• Document client requirements and implement them in Bentley design applications
• Recommend best practices for plant design as it relates to Bentley products
• Participate in project status meetings with customers.
• Provide demonstrations as required and be adaptable in changing sets of responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Oil and Gas, Mining, Power, Petrochemicals, or related industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Plant Design
• Work experience in Mechanical Engineering or engineering degree
• Some experience in consulting, client solutions, services, or similar experience.

• Proven experience in database and software usage
• Strong analytical and good interpersonal skills required
• Experience with software implementation projects resulting in successful product deliveries desired.
• Prior experience with OpenPlant, AutoPLANT, Aveva PDMS or Intergraph PDS or SmartPlant 3D desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

• Ability to work unsupervised under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action.
• Proven people skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
• Ability to travel to customer sites is required approximately 50%
