The team you'll be part of Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). As part of our team, you will:

  • Administration/Installation&commissioning/Upgrade/Integration/Troubleshooting experience in any of the products below NSN NetAct/ NetAct Service Quality Manager/NetAct Advanced Monitor/Self organizing Network server (ison)/ Nokia Performance Manager and Linux/Solaris/Oracle/ VMWare/Cloud & (or) Multivendor OSS
  • Good Experience in leading/managing team technically/delivery successfully
  • Past experience in new services/products adapting to it quickly, mastering the concepts & competence transfer to team
  • Previous experience in L3/L4 support of products.
  • Experience in Testing new products before release/Installing them in Lab & perform pilot installation for customers around world.
  • Willingness to test & execute new & complex OSS procedures migrations, special services etc
  • Ability to install/Manage/Troubleshoot multiple OSS technologies, Coaching/Technical support to team members, as Tech Lead motivate team to perform well technically.
  • Remote Support/deployment and software change management for the Global customers is added advantage.
  • Troubleshoot system management, fault management, configuration management and performance management issues.
  • Investigate and provide RCA for any major outages
  • Support report writing as required by management
  • SON / Eden Net / Optimizer Skill
  • Emergency ticket handling. Shift operations and 24x7 On-call support.

Your skills and experience
You have:
  • System Administration of Linux/VMware environment/Hadoop/Vmware & Open Stack Cloud concepts.
  • Experience in OS like Linux, Windows
  • Shell & Perl scripting + SQL scripting + some windows-based programming will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of IP/Routers/Switches etc
  • Experience in RDBMS like Oracle etc
  • Good understanding of Telecom Network & proven records in IP Networking concepts
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Bachelors in engineering/BCA/MCA with 10-15 Yrs of experience/ Diploma with 12-18 yrs exp in System Administration operation (Troubleshooting, Configuration, Lab testing etc.)
  • Good logical and analytical understanding Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn, share knowledge and transfer competence.
  • Availability for travel & Flexible to work in global time zones if business demands
  • Good verbal and written communication & Service and Customer oriented, ability to work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
