Job Overview Role: Consultant - Mobile Engineering Location: Mumbai, India . Focus Area: Testing and Experimentation . The role of a mid-level engineer with a focus on implementing experimentation requirements for a Flutter mobile app and a Vue.js/Episerver website is to develop and maintain high-quality codebases for both applications. . This role requires a strong understanding of Flutter and Vue.js, as well as experience in testing, continuous integration, and performance optimization. . Additionally, the engineer must be willing to learn and apply new skills to the Episerver platform for the website portion of the role. . The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Role Responsibilities . Implement experimentation requirements for the Flutter mobile application, based on functional and non-functional requirements provided by the product management and design teams. . Implement experimentation requirements for the Vue.js/Episerver website, using your existing knowledge of Vue.js and a willingness to learn and apply new skills to the Episerver platform. . Ensure that the codebase of both the Flutter mobile app and the Vue.js/Episerver website is of high quality by following coding standards, guidelines, and best practices. Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality metrics. . Implement testing strategies t o ensure that both the Flutter mobile app and the Vue.js/Episerver website are thoroughly tested. . Work with the development team to implement unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. . Optimize the performance of both the Flutter mobile app and the Vue.js/Episerver website by analyzing performance metrics, identifying the bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve the performance of the application. . Create technical documentation for both the Flutter mobile app and the Vue.js/Episerver website. . Document the architecture, design, codebase, and testing strategies to ensure that the development team and other stakeholders have a clear understanding of the application. . Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and frameworks that can be used to improve the development process and both the Flutter mobile app and the Vue.js/Episerver website. . Evaluate the feasibility of using these new technologies and make recommendations to the development team and other stakeholders. Must - have technical skills and experience . Strong experience with Flutter, including Dart programming language, widget development, and state management. . Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. . Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, and Flutter\'s built-in testing framework. . Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and network optimization. . Experience with Git version control, including branching and merging strategies. . Understanding of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. . Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Good to have skills . Experience with Vue.js, including Vue.js framework, Vue.js components, and Vue.js directives . Familiarity with Episerver CMS, including content management, commerce, and personalization capabilities .
