Job Description
The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a proactive and responsible consultant with high level of commitment and expertise to assist in Potato seed production with farmers under the project - \xe2\x80\x9cSustainable Intensification of Potato in Rice based systems in Odisha for Increased Productivity and Profitability.\xe2\x80\x9d
This consultant will be based in Bhubaneshwar and coordinate directly with the Project Manager.
Deliverables:
Monthly reports based on the following activities:
Multiplication of tissue culture plantlets Maintenance of ARC nursery

Expected duration and conditions:
- This consultancy contract is for 12 months with the possibility of renewal.
- The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
- The venue for Interview will be informed only to the shortlisted candidates.
Qualifications/special skills - Graduate/Post-graduate in Biotechnology. - 1-2 years of experience in working in Tissue culture lab. - Knowledge on agriculture will be prioritised.
