DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:
Individual will act as Construction Project Manager to coordinate consultants, contractors, vendors and support groups for large or small construction projects in India Offices. Individual will be responsible for all aspects of project management as assigned by Director of Construction. Candidate must have ability to manage multiple priorities and possess excellent engineering and construction management skills. Time management, risk management, communication and project organization skills are essential. This person will manage tasks from planning, coordinating and monitoring construction activities to ensure quality, budget and schedule of assigned projects.
EXPERIENCE

• Requires a minimum of 4 years in a project management role in construction, preferably in a hi-tech environment.
• Must have demonstrated best practice experience in construction tenant improvements and project management.
• Must exhibit solid leadership skills, and possess a strong aptitude of other functions that provide regular inputs into facility requirements (i.e. engineering, maintenance, etc.).
• Requires a strong aptitude in construction and related contract management. Must be able to collaborate with Legal to negotiate and execute contracts, real estate transactions, property management services, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes and systems and the operation of mechanical, plumbing and electrical building systems.
• Must have exemplary interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with those from diverse backgrounds, as well as those in senior levels in the organization.
• Must have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to influence and develop collaborative relationships, building cooperation in the pursuit and achievement of project goals.
• Must be able to effectively work with individuals both internal and external to the organization.
• Interacts with consultants/engineers, contractors, architects, regulatory agency and government representatives, and internal employees at all levels.

SKILLS

• Proficient in the use of Construction Management Systems (Oracle Primavera Unifier preferred), MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.
• Working knowledge of planning, design and use of computer aided design programs.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the design, planning, and construction of new domestic and international sites.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company requirements, permits and local statutory ordinances, applicable codes and regulations, and best practices.
• Negotiate and oversee plans, budgets and schedules for facility modifications and new construction.
• Ability to travel to multiple cities in India for periods of up to one month is required.

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Engineering, Construction management or equivalent.
