Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Management :
- Lead the execution strategy, project scope, goal, deliverables and budget management across all the projects
- Provide strategic inputs to the Management on latest developments across projects, new technologies, work practices, Government policies and recent trends in Industrial & Warehousing industry and general economy which may affect the Company or assigned Projects
- Responsible for the profitability of the projects to the company at large Pre-Construction
- Manage Master plan (phase wise) with detailed project plans in alignment to the overall project & business strategy, milestones, budget (spend strategy for efficient cash flow), site & logistics planning, site organogram and resource allocation
- Award of all major Packages (in coordination with Procurement team), Design Co-ordination (in coordination with Design & Pre-con team) and Government related policies (in coordination with Liaison).
- Manage development planning including master planning, FSI planning, product mix, project phasing, material planning etc. to maximize NPV or cash flow. (In-coordination with Pre-con, Liaison & Design team)
- Introduce construction benchmarks and standards in line with global / industry best practices to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction During Construction (Execution/ Operations)
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation including managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Monitor and track project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that timelines and budgets are met
- Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and other construction personnel to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Ensure optimum resource utilization including manpower, finance, infrastructure etc. to ensure achievement of key milestones as per the project plan
- Coordinate with other departments, such as design, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure that project requirements are met
- Tracking progress of Design (DDS), Design Management & co-ordination, Cross Functional Co-ordination & Issue Resolution Collaboration and Team Management
- Align the teams to overall objectives, monitor their performance and ensure that they consistently achieve set goals
- Provide guidance to the Regional leads and support skills and capability building
- Collaborate with all stakeholders towards the business objectives and also ensure a superior customer experience
- Leadership development and retention of the team. Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders within the organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Qualification & Other Requirements:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with 20+ years of work experience with international exposure / blue chip firms/ Industrial/ Warehousing & Logistics Parks and High end Commercial Offices.
