EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Min 15 year experience in Application Support or equivalent IT / EPC function BE / B. Tech / MCA or equivalent Scientific or Engineering Degree. Candidates with the following will also be considered: Specialized courses in Construction and Management Work Experience in similar capacity with thorough understanding of the job Construction site experience would be an added advantage ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Lead Construction Automation for the Application Support Group Lead technical discussions with the team and provide direction / decisions Provide inputs / recommendations on Application support to Functional Management Maintain / develop standard reporting practices Coordinate and interact with Project / Senior Management on support related issues Provide guidance to the team on EPC practices and standards Interaction and communication within Automation and IS&T groups, Corporate teams, GBU / Site offices, FSM / UPM Functional management in local and overseas offices. Leading / Facilitating Triage and Root Cause Analysis exercises. Provide for training and coach for career development opportunities of team members Strategic planning for the group Manage Budgeting activities for the group. Interaction with vendors and suppliers. Plan and develop assignments and engagements for team members Develop back-up in the team Amenable to work in shift operations Ability to lead and keep team motivated and efficient. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Excellent knowledge of Bechtel core work processes. Deep understanding of Database structures and application architecture for supporting Construction Applications. Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, Access databases. Thorough understanding of Data exchanges and integration. Ability to troubleshoot dataflow issues within applications. Expertise in Construction related applications like SmartPlant Construction, SmartPlant Foundation,TEAMWorks, WITS etc. Experience with Hexagon SmartPlant suite of products. Additional experience with 4D implementation and visualization is desirable. Knowledge of Adapters and APIs for data integration with other applications Eg. S3D, Aconex, SPPID Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs). Familiarity with Data analytics and reporting. Working knowledge of PowerBI, SSRS etc.
