About the department Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Cross DD&IT Technologies is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance processes for Analytics, Integration, Data management and Automation solutions for all Regions in Novo Nordisk. The Position As Confluent Kafka Platform Engineer, You will be responsible to use your expertise in Kafka brokers, Zookeepers, KSQLDB, K-Stream, Connect, Replicator, Cluster-linking, Confluent Control centre and schema registry in a very high-volume environment with extensive knowledge and exposure with Avro-Converters, Json-Converters, and String Converters and hands on experience in Kafka connectors such as MQ connectors, Elastic Search connectors, JDBC connectors, File stream connector, JMS source connectors, Tasks, Workers, converters, Transforms and Security setup with different authentication and Authorization mechanism like SASL, GSSAPI, SSL, Oauth2.0. Additionally: You will also be responsible for Creating topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts, and has good knowledge of best practices. You will support Project and Business Area Managers regarding data and integration, supporting management in understanding the requirement, involved in Architecture discussions and provide technical expertise and supporting in raising new Change Requests related to integration, interfaces, and Data management as needed. You will be working closely with System Manager and integration architects to improve the service delivery. You will be Involved in getting new projects onboarded on Kafka and proposing the appropriate solutions and to review efforts quoted by Vendor and challenge solutions proposed in case they do not follow the required standards. Qualifications Extensive experience is required in design and development of secure and scalable Kubernetes infrastructure, utilizing AWS EKS and Confluent Kafka. Proficiency in IaC with Terraform and Azure DevOps Proven track record of implementing AWS Cloud solutions Delivery exposure on technologies such as AWS EKS, Confluent Cloud, Kafka, Terraform, Linux, KSQL, Splunk, DataDog and Schema Registry. Experience in platform technologies such as Confluent Cloud Kafka, AWS EKS, Kafka Connect, KSQL, Schema registry and in security. Experience in CI/CD tools such as ADO, Azure pipelines, Terraform and Helm Charts Experience in Monitoring & logging tools such as Splunk & DataDog is an added advantage Working at Novo Nordisk We are a proud life-science company, and life is our reason to exist.
