JR46046 Configuration Management Engineer

As Configuration Management Engineer, you are expected to work together with peers & other multi-functional groups locally and/globally to accomplish interpersonal and business objectives. You will mainly be responsible in performing Configuration management & engineering change management activities which includes ECR/ECN/ECO creation & maintenance in PLM Tools (Teamcenter), Engineering Drawing Release Activities, Maintain Part numbering System & supervise overall Engineering workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Thorough understanding of the creation/maintenance of ECR/ECN/ECO in Teamcenter and their process & release activity.
• Build and maintain Operational Method Sheets and Package Design Drawings and Documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, NPI, and Production Teams to define, monitor, and handle Master Data.
• Work with sites to maintain global alignment and coordinate documentation alignment projects.
• Lead the Internal work request system and Documentation sites and libraries.
• Support management projects and enforce to the company\xe2\x80\x99s legal standards and production strategies/policies.
• Strong engineering background and very good knowledge of engineering documentation & control.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost, flexibility, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multiple multi-functional partners to resolve any potential issues with ECNs, ECRs, etc.
• Investigate data flows between systems, enhance and improve when required.
• Create business processes for ongoing Data maintenance and be the first contact for any data gaps.
• Capture And Check APTD (Sophisticated Packaging Technology Development) Documentation correctness which includes Package Material Stack-up, Vendor Design Approval form, Substrate & Package drawings.
• Communicate & negotiate design Spec (Substrate Requirements) with Suppliers through approved communication channel.
• Mediate between internal engineering teams & suppliers.

Education Qualification & Skills Required:

• BE Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 6 years of Configuration/engineering Change management experience.
• Proven experience in Configuration/Engineering Change management activities through any notable PLMs (Teamcenter - Active Workspace (AWS).
• Experience with Teamcenter configuration and customization (Teamcenter - AWS is helpful).
• Demonstrated ability to track ECRs/ECNs and keen attention to detail for request details of ECRs from different departments.
• Ability to handle sophisticated timelines and multiple internal partners.
• Phenomenal interpersonal skills to lead internal and external contacts.
• Ability to identify errors in the ECN/ECR documentation and understand/modify/define the Product/System Configurations.
• Ability to work and navigate in agile teams and well versed with Manufacturing Processes and Methods.
