The Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items (Cis) recorded and maintained in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) provides a trusted source for technology components delivering complete and quality data in support of Technology and Service Management processes and functions required to deliver Business, Application and Technology Services This role also delivers the required Governance and Controls in the maintenance of the logical model, containing the components of the IT infrastructure (CIs) and their associations to other data types stored in the CMDB Ensure the underlying structure of the CMDB Ensure systematic and operational processes maintain complete and accurate information of Configuration Items (CIs) Ensure that no Cis are added or modified without the required authorization through Change Control process Perform regular reporting and data certification activities Primary Skills Supporting ServiceNow Components/Products Working within ServiceNow Platform ServiceNow Scripting using JavaScript Strong verbal/written communication skills Experience with MS Office/Office365 Products ITIL Foundation (v3/4) Foundation Certification ITIL Capability certification(s) in Service Transition or higher ServiceNow IT Service Management Fundamentals CMDB Fundamentals Secondary Skills Working understanding of CSDM v3.0/4.0 Strong verbal/written communication skills Experience with MS Office/Office365 Products
