Assistant Director – Talent HR Enablement (HRE) - Projects, Programs, and Strategic initiatives
This role will support some of the key strategic Talent Projects, Programs, and Initiatives across EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS). This role would have the opportunity to lead the EY listening programs at GDS, support program management of the Talent re-imagination programs, driving them to successful closure and ensuring regular updates to the leadership. You will also have an opportunity to create a brand for GDS Talent in various external forums and events.
The opportunity
This role will be part of the HRE Centre of Excellence (CoE). In our effort to build a better working world, as a CoE, we work closely with various stakeholders within Service Lines, Enabling Services, Operations & Talent, to drive the critical projects that make huge impact to the Firm. Our stakeholders include leadership at various levels that enable organizational change. As the CoE, we play an important role in bringing best in class Talent re-imagination programs, activate them across the Firm and make change successful. These programs enable positive impact to business and growth to our employees.
Your key
responsibilities

  • Lead the EY People Survey including design of communication plan, tracking response, and creating awareness for leadership and STCs on upcoming surveys. Build relationships with global counterparts and represent GDS on various meetings on EY Listening agenda. Work on both planned and on-request operations and transactions as they arise for EY listening programs. Partner along with STC leads to track implementation of key identified actions
  • Support the program governance and tracking of talent reimagination project reviews with leadership. Adopt innovative and technology solutions to track program success and actions
  • Partner with CoE leads to track the goals associated with various talent reimagination projects, highlight challenges and risks proactively to leadership. Negotiate, influence, and hold people who partner in these programs, accountable to timelines and change the approaches, based on lessons learnt
  • Lead Talent transitions, strategic initiatives, and cross functional projects, which involves change management and communication planning
  • Identify opportunities to represent GDS Talent in Industry forums like SHRM, World HRD etc for awards participation. Continually build relationships with key external contacts for external events, awards etc.
  • Own the central talent repository for process documents, reporting, Talent Sharepoint etc. Identify opportunities for HR operational excellence leveraging technology including transformation of Talent Sharepoint to increase usage, strengthen talent digital asset library etc.
  • Monitor the Talent communications and manage the central Talent mailboxes

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Overall experience in HR/Talent for a minimum of 9+ years and experience in managing and leading talent programs/ projects for at least 2 years.
  • Having worked in large organization to drive change related to talent program, projects, or initiatives.
  • Have the required background and experience in complex program and project management
  • Preferred to have a basic understanding of MS Sharepoint
  • Experience in working with various stakeholders and cultural intelligence to work with a wide range of people from different background, geographies, countries etc.
  • Ability to lead teams and influence teams that may not be positionally working with the person.
