Deliver and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities in corporate, education, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, distributors, and direct clients.
Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiate contracts and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
Research and assess new market opportunities in Chennai and across South India.
Support entry into new channels, including e-commerce and project-based furniture solutions.
Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and client presentations.
Work with marketing and operations teams to design campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies.
Partner with supply chain teams on demand forecasting, delivery schedules, and customer service standards.
Ensure brand consistency in product positioning and client experience.
Track KPIs including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and client retention.
Prepare regular sales reports with insights and recommendations for management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in furniture, interiors, or B2B trading sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-crore annual sales targets.
Strong skills in market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Team-oriented and results-driven mindset with entrepreneurial spirit.
Knowledge of the furniture industry is
mandatory
.
Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu and occasionally across India.
