Era University Innovation Think Tank computer science/information technology internship job description: We are seeking a highly motivated intern with a background in computer science/information technology. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating health products and systems through conducting research in order to solve clinical problems using a variety of means to collate necessary information while engaging with a global team. This involves research on pre-existing healthcare systems, biotechnologies, and medical technology devices as well as prototyping the relevant systems, models, and projects on given topics within the ERA UNIVERSITY-ITT lab.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Your tasks include working on various questions on concepts and improvements in medical technology and their supporting infrastructures.
Fields of working can be:
Programming of prototype software- Rapid prototyping
- Data analysis
- Sensor Technologies
- App development
- Testing etc.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in information technology, software engineering, informatics, computer science / technologies or any other related field from a well-recognized university.- Preferentially Siemens Healthineers Innovation Think Tank Certified
Attributes and skills:
Able to undertake independent research and be an effective team player- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with a solid innovation mindset
- Preferred proficiency in scientific/medical technical and computer software for engineers
- Committed and able to work within deadlines
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Interest to challenge yourself to learn new skills
- You are interested in working on a variety of different interdisciplinary projects
- You are open to new ideas and interested in both working independently and in working in a team.
