Job Description

Assemble, install, and upgrade computer systems (desktops, laptops, servers) Diagnose and repair hardware issues (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, power supply) Install peripherals such as printers, scanners, and biometric devices Perform preventive maintenance and system optimization Install and configure LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network infrastructure Crimp and test network cables (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber - basic level) Configure switches, routers, access points, and modems Assign IP addresses and manage basic TCP/IP settings Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux - basic) Install drivers, antivirus, and essential applications Perform OS troubleshooting, formatting, and system recovery Maintain system security and updates Diagnose hardware, software, and network-related problems Provide on-site and remote technical support to users Resolve printer, internet, email, and sharing issues Escalate complex issues when required Implement basic network security measures (firewalls, passwords, access control) Ensure data backup and recovery procedures Support antivirus and malware protection Maintain inventory of IT assets Record service reports and troubleshooting logs Document network layouts and system configurations
