Job Purpose

Work within Central Risk & Compliance team that supports global stakeholders with activities listed below

Provide excellent support on general compliance activities and compliance inquiries.

Proactively contribute to on-going development and process improvement of compliance processes.

Ensure regular responsibilities are accomplished, measured via process KPIs.

Maintain effective and efficient back and forth communication (by phone or email) with requestors and stakeholders.

Assist in maintaining and keeping process documentation updated.

Key Responsibilities

The main focus of the role is to support the maintenance of the firm\'s compliance management system and processes, including (but not restricted to):

Firm\'s gifts and hospitality program (including advising on the Firm\'s gifts and hospitality policy and maintaining the global register of gifts and hospitality, recommending approval or rejection of a request) which helps in mitigating the associated risks and drives culture of compliance amongst employees.

Assist in data analysis and designing presentations, dashboards and reports for senior management. This may require you to work on PowerPoint, Power Bi, Spreadsheets, etc. and help manage the process of collating data for the reports and presentations.

Advise on general compliance queries, in coordination with other members of the compliance team and other subject matter experts, where required.

Assist in developing compliance related training modules and/or internal communications and to contribute towards the skill building of the team members with the firm\'s policies.

To act as an important support for the senior stakeholders within the firm such as regional Compliance Managers, Managing Associates and Partners located in various jurisdictions in an environment that requires constant communication and support for requests and general inquiries.

Assist with the maintenance of global policies, procedures and guidelines of the Firm

Provide support by collecting, analysing and coordinating internal compliance data with the stakeholders for the purposes of preparing meaningful data to be used for the consumption of the senior stakeholders of the firm.

Provide the required assistance for implementation and execution of policies such as Anti Bribery and Corruption, UK Modern Slavery Act, 2015, anti-money laundering, market abuse regulations, etc.

Review and resolve the queries received in relation to mandatory and risk trainings conducted on the Academy portal, including extension and exemption requests.

Coordinating with the relevant teams to help resolve issues or requests from the individuals while completing their training

Developing SOPs, templates, checklists to help drive efficiency and effectiveness

Skills & Experience

A bachelor\'s/master\'s degree from a reputed institute

A certification in the Compliance domain is desirable

4 to 6 years of experience working in a Compliance function handling variety of Compliance activities is preferred

Experience at a multinational organisation, preferably working in a similar role

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel)

Proficient in creating excel reports

Communicating & Influencing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels within the firm

Ability to communicate persuasively and clearly

Influencing and negotiation skills

Organisational/Strategic/Job-related skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and proven experience of prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines

Flexible, proactive, and ability to multi-task

Good time management skills

Willingness to learn and to grow with the company and motivated to take on additional projects and solve problems
