Responsibilities

Role - 6 Month - Fixed Term Contract

Role purpose -

The Compliance Manager, India is an integral part of Deutsche Post DHLs Compliance Organization. The role provides effective support to the Regional Compliance Officer (RCO) in the delivery and execution of compliance within APAC. You are to drive the compliance agenda within APAC in line with the RCO requirements ensuring that key operational compliance risks which threaten the achievement of business objectives are effectively managed in conjunction with Management

  • Coordinate the compliance management system and organization which aligns to the Global Supply Chain Compliance target operating model arrangements
  • Ensure Group compliance policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics Policy, Competition Compliance Policy) are implemented.
  • Establish effective monitoring of country compliance implementation in line with Global Supply Chain Compliance target operating model arrangements ensuring effective management of competition compliance, incident management, business partner screening, compliance risk assessment, hospitality reporting, handling of customer compliance requests, compliance reporting and compliance monitoring
  • Collaborate with and coordinate a compliance network within APAC involving internal stakeholders such as Internal Audit, HR, Business Development, Finance, Legal, Security and Operations
  • Act as an independent body for advice on ethical issues, conflicts of interest, compliance and related issues
Actively engage with customers to demonstrate and promote the compliance environment and compliance as competitive advantage.

Note - This is a secondment role and is temporary role for 6 months only.

Requirements
  • A degree in Business Management, Compliance, Risk Management or equivalent, in an international service related environment or an appropriate professional qualification
  • Strong communication with the ability to engage in an open dialogue and to communicate technical compliance matters clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to establish excellent working relationships and developing personal contacts.
  • Cross cultural in outlook and attitude, innovative and highly motivated
  • Excellent analytical, assurance and audit skills
