Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee the compliance function at Nova
Ensure complete adherence to IRDAI and MCA regulations for Holding and Subsidiary entities
Partner with teams and assist in implementing policies, systems, or controls to reduce risk
Responsible for dissemination of the regulatory notifications and ongoing monitoring of implementation
Educate employees about regulatory and legal requirements
Maintaining filing system of all necessary documentation
IRDAI Reporting
Use routine audits to identify potential compliance risks
Sales and Operations compliance
Preparing presentations for the Board and KMPs
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes across MCA and IRDAI

Qualifications and experience

Company secretary with 2+ years experience (or) semi-qualified company secretary with 4+ experience
Preferably from Broking experience
Knowledge of any relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail
Critical thinking skills
Experience of handling compliance in an Insurance broking company Good to have

Ability to organize well, multi-task, and work independently on several compliance tasks and meet deadlines with high attention to detail
Project management - Planning and executing
