Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance professional to join the Legal department within the Asset Management/ Private Equity industry. This role, based in Hong Kong, requires expertise in regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements within the Asset Management/ Private Equity industry
• Monitor and assess compliance risks, implementing effective control measures.
• Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Stay updated with changes in regulatory frameworks and implement necessary updates.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a culture of compliance across the organization.

A successful Compliance professional should have:

• Educational background in Law, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in Investment Banking.
• Proficiency in analyzing and mitigating compliance risks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
• Ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
