KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform the statutory duties and other legal formalities as per the provisions of the Companies Act, Income-tax, RBI and other regulations applicable to the group (including Non-Banking Finance Company requirements & MFI).
- The job holder ensures that the policies and procedures laid out are in compliance with all statutory and operational processes at all branches
- Ensures compliance of all audit reports, timely completion, closure of reports etc., within the timeframe and are driven by policies
- Manage conflict of interest between directors and the governance in the best interests of the organization
- Ensures compliance of all audit reports, timely completion, closure of reports etc., within the timeframe and are driven by policies
- Develops systems that monitors and ensures organization complies with all applicable legal and statutory requirements
- Controlling error, reporting of frauds and cost leakage
- Taking care of RBI's regulations on Fraud reporting, fraud monitoring, guiding the Company, reporting to RBI etc. To get complete details of the fraud, suspected fraud and to be reported to the senior management, followed by adherence to RBI guidelines on FIR, reporting to RBI etc.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- A qualified Company Secretary with minimum 10 + years of experience from NBFC
- Good drafting skills with excellent communication and presentation skills
