Overview

These three roles split across HBS and MBS provide media monitoring, social listening, and analytical support to a network of content creators in our top 20 markets. These candidates will enable our Communications team\xe2\x80\x99s evolution to be more data and insights driven, by providing services like real-time monitoring; adapting, maintaining and analyzing the Global Communcations Scorecard; digital reputation; analysis of key constituent behaviors; and identifying engagement opportunities and optimizations across owned, earned, and paid media channels. This team will engage with key stakeholders within the Coporate Affairs function, as well as within GBS, and will often be responsible for timely updates that deal with sensitive matters.

Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities

  • Provide analytics to support the global COE Team and eventually the Top 20 Markets according to the horizons plan. This strategic expansion results in a more efficient approach with direct in-house support and provides a superior and standard execution of content measurement and analysis across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
  • Provide real-time/ ad-hoc monitoring, analysis, and reporting of trending topics and issues about PepsiCo, its products, brands, leaders, competitors, etc.
  • Adapt listening and monitoring platforms to ensure optimal coverage of key issues, negative sentiments, volume of conversation, reach of influencers, etc. & generate reports
  • Create and distribute social and media reports for leadership (e.g., daily/ weekly/ quarterly type of periodic reports, or custom reports on as-need basis)
  • Track KPIs for various earned media campaigns
  • Deliver recurring performance reports (content, channel, topic-based reputation, influencers, etc.)
  • Monitor and provide social listening and earned media monitoring data across different platforms and campaigns
  • Support Communications Scorecard reputational analysis by analyzing PepsiCo and competitive social and media activity
  • Support pre-testing and mid-flight optimization processes, and post campaign wrap reports for content executions.
  • Provide analytics for internal communications content to generate useful insights for the business around trends, data patterns, improvement areas, future opportunities etc. Key activities would be:
  • Support in strategy development to improve internal communications analytics through desk research, prepare initial drafts, etc.
  • Build / leverage automated tools to produce/review long term reports on employee engagement across platforms
  • Identify ways to improve the self-service experience for repeatable data measurement
  • Build, test, deploy surveys e.g. post town-hall
  • Help assess Internal Comms impact & develop insights for future content campaign planing
  • Monitor website performance based on various metrics (visitor trends, bounce rates, most visited pages, etc.), analyze and generate insights for improvement
  • Monitor and report internal metrics (Compass Dashboard, Contact Monkey metrics + potential Yammer reporting)
  • Perform Content testing, e.g. AB Testing on various platforms to generate actionable insights for internal Communication campaigns



Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience working in monitoring and / or analytics supporting a Communications function for a global organization or PR agency
  • Proficiency with earned media metrics and reporting processes across all major platforms (online, TV, broadcast, print, etc.)
  • Proficiency with social media listening and reporting processes and tools/platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and similar programs
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analysis skills, including the ability to quickly and concisely summarize complex issues
  • Advanced data analysis & visualization techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Ability to build and maintain data models, reporting systems, automated tools and dashboards as needed for efficient data gathering and reporting
  • Business acumen and ability to build actionable recommendations
  • Passion for consumer markets industry and latest U.S., and world events
  • Excellent data organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of the latest trends in earned media monitoring and social listening spheres, high proficiency in written/oral communication and presentation skills along-with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with leadership across functions and geographies, with a strong preference for experience working with teams in North America
  • Experience managing and communicating sensitive information
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills along with strong relationship skills
  • Self-starter, ability to deliver work and coordinate with parallel teams / capability leads in different time zones / geographies
  • Experience working with an organization like PepsiCo. (e.g., brand environment, similar size, scale, markets, complexity)
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills
