The SRC team is implementing an architecture and validation program to drive world class security, sustainability, and resilience of our cloud infrastructure. This will allow Microsoft to showcase its commitment to deliver the #1 Trusted Cloud Platform in the world.
We are looking for a Business Program Manager to partner with and report to the Director, Security, Risk & Compliance Communications & Strategy. This colleague will be a valued member of SRC and set the design and cadence of group metrics reporting and assist with the development and delivery of stakeholder communications (external and internal). You will partner closely with a Security Risk and Compliance team members as well as external assessors to shape messaging, feel and content, and actively outreach to cross-functional teams to capture and report results against the security and resiliency requirements.
This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, including direct interaction with the SRC VP, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build compelling and comprehensive business review and reporting materials.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for driving the Advanced Security & Resiliency Architecture across internal and external stakeholders as well as the development and delivery of reporting to provide meaningful insight to stakeholders.

• 
  Business Planning and Reporting- Work with cross-division and cross-company/team counterparts to manage team participation as needed for key business events, next fiscal year planning, content for business reviews and other strategic business planning activities.
• Communication - Drive internal messaging content of communications for reporting and other internal communications of major milestones. Assist in creating and maintaining informative SRC content for internal and external audiences via platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Business Integration- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working across organizations on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity and propose workable solutions to challenging problems.
• Collaboration- Drive collaboration with all essential stakeholders and operational business teams to whom relevant security and resiliency requirements apply and upon whom the team has direct and indirect dependencies for compliance success.
• Special Projects- Successful management of initiatives that require hands-on navigation across multiple functional disciplines and business organizations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven communications and reporting experience in a technology organization, with experience across multiple disciplines
• Attention to detail, strong at execution
• Excellent networking and interpersonal skills. Successfully collaborate across multiple teams and levels
• Capable of strong individual contribution and collaboration across teams
• Proven track record in project management
• Experience leading and executing projects in a complex organizational environment and working on several diverse projects at the same time
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence
• Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications (e.g. reports, SharePoint content, internal presentations)
• Ability to develop content rich internal and external facing portals transparently showcasing strategic initiatives and metrics
• Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with governance, risk and controls models
• Familiarly with cloud services and associated technology
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or business administration
