You will be working as Communication Manager and will be reporting to Global Communication Lead for ABB services located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for developing communications plans, policies, standards, material and content in specific area of expertise to increase awareness and engagement of the ABB brand globally with internal/external stakeholders

Your responsibilities

• Implementing the overall internal communications strategy for the ABB Services Hub in Bangalore, supporting business priorities and raising ABB\xe2\x80\x99s brand, image, and value proposition in the mind of employees
• Generating high-quality content for multiple channels, translating sometimes complex information into appealing messages and stories, and creating online and offline materials including feature stories, case studies, internal announcements, presentations, speeches, videos, and web and social media content
• Initiating, creating, and implementing digital communications activities that engage employees and boost morale
• Developing and drive the internal communications plan for the Bangalore Hub, identifying promotional and communications opportunities, crafting announcements, responses, FAQs and visuals such as infographics, posters, etc.
• Supporting the local Hub Leadership Team with internal communication and employee engagement, including implementation of global and local internal campaigns and management of local internal channels
• Working with external communications service providers for creative services, communication solutions and event management. Defining quality and delivery targets of externally assigned activities, monitoring ongoing progress, and resolving issues
• Managing the development and installation of relevant branding material across Hub locations and oversee all branding for employee engagement and employer branding activities

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations or a related area desirable
• At least 7-10 years of experience in a global multination organization in a communications or related role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English a must (near-native level proficiency)
• Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite, Slido, etc
• Ability to comfortably work across teams of different cultures and time zones
