Job Description
The India Communications & CSR Lead position, based in Pune, is accountable for the communications and CSR activities in India. His/her role is split between internal and external communications for Garrett India, including developing and delivering the Indian communication plan, working closely with the India management team, supporting with local product marketing communication, and implementing the Garrett corporate external and internal communication activities in the market. He/she is also responsible for leading the India CSR Committee and lead planning and deployment of community Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to ensure optimal and meaningful impact in Garrett?s host communities across India. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal and external communication plan for Garrett India including digital channels, marketing communications including sales support, corporate communications including employer branding PR and events.
- Coordinate all internal communication activities for all Garrett sites in India
- Implement the Garrett global marketing communications, PR, Corporate and internal communication activities in India.
- Manage agency contracts, project timelines, results/analytics, and the Indian budget
- Provide communications support to India GM and internal stakeholders
- Bring communication support to the Government Relations team for their local activities
- Responsible for development and validation of the annual CSR plan
- Lead the India CSR committee
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Communications ore related discipline is required.
- 8+ years? experience required in marketing communications, digital channels and management, corporate communications, and internal communications
- Background in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and public relations (PR) would be a plus
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working in global companies and multi-matrix organizations
- Ability to create well-documented and organized marketing and internal communications plans
