The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY\xe2\x80\x99s ambition to create long-term value as the world\xe2\x80\x99s most
trusted, distinctive professional services organization. The function is made up of over 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.
BMC also includes teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.
This position is in the BMC and Administrative Services (MBA) functions within Global Delivery Services (GDS) and is aligned to the Communications Center of Excellence. This person will work as part of the Global Talent Communications and Engagement (CE) team (hours are 10:00- 19:00 IST) to create compelling content for various internal communications deliverables that primarily support large-scale internal Talent events.
Technical skills/tools requirements
Essential
  • Excellent writing ability in US English and experience in various forms of writing. A writing assignment will form part of the interview process.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in internal communications / corporate communications.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, PowerPoint, Basic Excel.

Desirable

Experienced in producing communications and branding for Talent or Learning & Development events in a corporate or professional environment.
Roles and responsibilities
  • Write, edit, produce and curate content for internal deliverables such as event branding assets, PowerPoint presentations, event-related communications,
  • internal news articles, newsletters, videos, meeting materials and intranet (SharePoint) content. These primarily relate to the Talent events the Global Talent CE team supports.
  • Project manage, plan and prepare material for effective rollout or deployment of Talent events, webcasts or virtual meetings/events, in collaboration with key team
  • members, stakeholders, suppliers and other BMC teams, including social media teams, as applicable.
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies/plans, working with senior stakeholders and leaders.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders in the Talent function to become a trusted communications advisor.
  • Develop and implement communications initiatives for the Talent function, aligned to business priorities, that engage, educate and inspire employees and leaders.
  • Support the EY brand by being able to understand, implement and strictly adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by EY, including verbal and branding guidelines.
  • Pursue and share best practices within the team to support continuous improvement.
  • Engage with key team members to identify their objectives, strategies, target audiences and differentiators, to help build a high performing team.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and ensure all deliverables are of high quality.
  • Adopt a global mindset to support Talent communications across diverse nationalities and cultures.
