Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Responsibilities : Responsible for SCADA design, optimized engineering, testing, and troubleshooting of Substation Automation system according to the customer specifications. Knowledge of relevant international standards. ex: IEEE, IEC, ANSI etc. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains good communication and collaboration with stake holders. Ability to work autonomously and as a part of team. Substation automation protocols and communication systems. Your Background: B.E/B.TECH - Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Electrical Minimum 3-6 years\' experience in Substation automation system. Knowledge on Hitachi Energy (ABB) Substation Automation & Engineering software\'s such as IET, Microscada , PCM, RTU etc. Knowledge on other manufacturer substation Automation software\'s. Knowledge on communication protocol - IEC 61850, IEC 60870 - 5-101, 103 , 104, LON , SPA , DPN3 , Modbus etc Knowledge on SCADA testing and validation Knowledge on various Protocol simulators. Knowledge on SCIL, VB Scripts, PLC and Structured text.
