Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer- QCX-Lab Automation System to join our Automation Service Team on a full-time basis. You will be part of Service Team serving all Domestic and Global Customers.

You will work with 23 other colleagues in Automation-Control System Service Team.

Job responsibilities

• Installation, supervision, and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems, including complete instrumentation and control systems for cement, mining, and captive power plants.
• Travel to domestic and global site for Commissioning Services/Troubleshooting/AMCs/Site Audits.
• Ensure Equipment and Personal Safety in all aspects.
• Co-ordination with customer + contractor + Chennai office.
• Responsible for site documentation - Project schedule, Site reports,
• Learning reports, Protocols, Punch lists & Check lists.
• Reports the work progress concerning quality standards.
• Need to contribute more on developing Service Business and to adhere department guidelines.
• Contribute to generate sales leads.
• Effectively communicates relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
• Confronts and resolves issues openly and quickly.
• Promotes creative and innovative thinking within the team to increase efficiency of the department.
• Focus on On-time delivery with the expected quality.
• He or She has the responsibility of ensuring that they execute the projects within the established time and cost budgets.
• Ensures periodic project reviews and reporting on time.

What you bring

• Handle complete installation and commissioning of Control Systems individually or as a team depending upon the size of the project, supplied to Cement and Mining Industries across the Globe and the project types could be green field, brown field and upgrades.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities through effective time management to deliver on client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
• Self-motivation and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Flexible with a positive attitude and can take instructions.
• Possibility to assist outside normal office hours.
• Good planning and organizing skills for prioritizing concurrent tasks.
• Should be a team player with a good command in English.
• Delivering Results and meeting customer Expectations is the key.
• Should be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Extensive travel is a must. (Around 250 to 300 days in a Year)

Prior Experience in

• Lab Automation System \xe2\x80\x93 Installation, Supervision and Commissioning of Lab Automation Systems which includes Engineering & Commissioning of Laboratory Automation Software Systems for Cement & Mining..
• Handling of Chemical Quality Control Systems and its related Software Applications, Design, Engineering and Development of Electrical drawings,PLC Programming, review and compilations of vendor document for the laboratory automation system
• Erection of Equipment, Application Side
• To coordinate with internal department & external consultants for information exchange, and also to ensure error-free drawings & documentation adhering to FLS standards.
• Attend consultant/vendor technical meetings.
• To ensure the smooth integration of Software Applications with Lab components.
• To ensure timeliness of project deliverables within allocated man-hours.
• Extensive Travel to domestic and global project sites for a minimum period of 5 Years
• Industrials Protocols like Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, Device Net etc.
• Good planning and organizing skills for prioritizing concurrent tasks.
• Should be a team player with good command in English.
• Delivering Results and meeting customer Expectations is the key.
• Should be self-motivated with positive attitude.
• Extensive travel is a must. ( Around 250 to 300 days in a Year)

Education:

• BE or Diploma (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)
• Experience: 3 to 13 Years.
